Ham Sliders
These are YUMMY! My kids ate them up and begged for more! I have tried several pinterest recipes lately and for every 5 I try maybe 1 is worth keeping. This one did not disappoint!
Take about 20 dinner rolls (mine were homemade and soft) and put a little mayo on the inside with a slice of ham and a slice of swiss. I had cheddar and mozzerella on hand, so that is what I used.
Place the sandwiches close together in a baking dish. I used two 9x13 pans. Butter the tops with this sauce.
Sauce:
1/2 c butter, melted
1 T poppyseeds
1, 1/2 T mustard
1 T minced onion
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
You do not have to use all the sauce. Cover the pans with foil and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Uncover the dish and bake another 2 minutes.

Chibata Sandwich
No recipe here, just a fun idea for lunch. I love the chibata bread at walmart. Just butter the outside of the bun and throw it on the grill. Inside the sandwich use real mozzarella cheese, basil and tomato slices. I drizzled olive oil over the tomato for extra flavor!

Hot Turkey Melt
It's really easy to get bored with the same summer sandwich. Try this cheesy turkey sandwich for a change! Bring a washcloth to the table and be prepared for all the buttery goodness to drip down your chin. Mmmm
First saute for about 2 minutes:
1 T butter
multi colored peppers (I used red and orange)
Remove your peppers and generously butter two pieces of bread. Layer on one of the pieces:
sliced turkey
Provolone cheese
slices of tomato
cooked peppers
avocado
Serve hot!

Chicken Salad Sandwich
This is my all time favorite dinner in the hot summer months! Chicken Salad on croissants. I like to serve this with a berry smoothy and fresh strawberries on the side. I like that I can make this up the night before or the morning of. Leftovers are wonderful for lunches for the rest of the week.
In a bowl dump and mix:
4 cups cooked chicken (I use a whole rotisserie chicken from the Deli)
1 cup celery, chopped
1/3 cup yellow onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup mayo (I never use miracle whip)
pepper
3/4 cup sliced or slivered almonds
